Excellent points on a topic that probably isn't considered enough by many tech/cybersec entrepreneurs. Emotion can have a much greater impact on action than logic/reason, for better or worse. As innovator's who want to genuinely sell people on the value that we believe we're bringing to the field/world, we've got to leverage this and start thinking about emotional appeal to support our logical reasoning.
Confidence that a security leader is / will do a good job is why they are hired. Whether or not they are actually securing things is another story. Great post!
