I think specifically as the infrastructure of a business changes in the agentic future, it’s probably a good thing that security and infra are getting closer together from an ownership perspective. I also think that’s part of why there are so many security startups for agentic use cases that all “make sense” but many are struggling with revenue traction because that’s a completely new purchasing motion for many CISOs out there. Tons of interest, tons of meeting, tons of evaluations, tons of “budgets being allocated, but not as much money being spent. Yet.
